There are a ton of places to eat in all price ranges near the hotel – within walking distance depending on your fitness level – but below are some of the nicer restaurants in the Madison area. The West Towne Mall area – close to the hotel but far enough away you have to have a car – has every chain restaurant known to man.
Prairie Cafe and Bakery
A local café and bakery, offering breakfast, lunch and daily bakery specials. Everything, from the soups to the salads to the fresh bakery items are made in house daily! Along with the delicious food, Prairie Café and Bakery displays local artwork on a rotating basis. Open Tuesday-Sunday, stop by for a local taste of Middleton!
Jets Pizza
Offering pizza, submarine sandwiches, and salads, as well as their signature deep-dish pizza. Made with fresh, quality ingredients to provide a superior tasting pizza.
The pizza from here is INCREDIBLE – totally worth the thousands of calories it probably contains, lol.
Hubbard Ave Diner
An American diner themed restaurant that has diner food with a twist – and they serve breakfast all day.
The Stamm House $$$$
Fresh fish, steak, pasta and lighter sauces.
Menu favorites include the Stamm burger topped with melty cheese curds, homemade chicken parmesan, and their classic Old Fashioned.
Amber Indian Cuisine
This restaurant is Megan’s favorite Indian place in the area. Terrific food!
Barriques
Barriques offers a wide selection of food, wine, spirits and beer; as well as a full coffee and espresso bar serving up fantastic tasting coffee. There are bi-weekly wine tastings on Friday evenings, wine and scotch served by the glass, and beer by the bottle. Free wireless internet access is available.
Free House Pub
Cozy gastropub offering sandwiches, burgers and bites, as well as more substantial entrees. Also boasts a large beer, wine, cocktail, and whiskey menu, within a cozy setting and an outdoor patio. Open for lunch and dinner.

Craftsman Table and Tap
Craftsman Table and Tap is a friendly neighborhood restaurant located in the heart of Middleton. The menu features sandwiches, burgers, appetizers, and entrées inspired by local and seasonal ingredients. Our beer selection is extensive with 18 drought lines and over two dozen bottles. We feature the best of the local brews, as well as, some of the best craft beers from around the world. Capital Brewery
Capital Brewery specializes in brewing German style lagers and has won over 240 medals. The indoor Bier Stube and Grain Room is open to the general public in the fall/winter. The Bier Garten is open in the Spring and Fall, and offers live music and food vendors several days of the week.
